Tonight at Jewel, after the Cinco de Mayo feast, I finally started to get really sad about leaving Chicago from tomorrow until January. So instead of dwelling on the sadness, I occupied myself by looking at the outdoor fun aisle. A whiffle ball set for $1.99, and various kites between $2-3!!! Although then I started to get sad again, when I thought about flying them in the parks in Chicago and going to the zoo (because kites always make me think of the zoo). Even though I live in the Chicago suburbs, so I'm only about a 45 minute drive from the city, it's still sad to think about not living here anymore.
But I'm not going to let it get to me. Instead, I'm going to stay up all night and enjoy this city (and studying for my math final tomorrow) as much as possible.

italy? yes please!
I'm going to Italy next sememster! A few weeks ago I applied for the Florence, Italy study abroad program, and yesterday I found out that I got in. I'm so excited, it's going to be so awesome. Studying art and music in Florence, and just living there will be incredible!

i get emo when i'm tired
I really want to go back to Alaska. Just for a visit. Preferably a long one. Like the time I went for 5 weeks. My heart hurts for it, as emo as that sounds, it's true.
