So I was watching some MTV Cribs Thursday afternoon, and they started playing a song I like. You know when you hear the beginning of a song, and you know it's a song that you listen to over and over again but you can't think of what song it is? Well that's how it was with this song, when it started playing I was like "Oh I love this song!" and then I started playing the song in my head because I couldn't think of the name of it. So I get through the musical intro and start singing the words "say the things you say, and you're dreaming like you do..." and then it hit me. "No freakin way!" I practically shouted, it was Spitalfield, "I Love The Way She Said L.A!!" Isn't that awesome? Man, I still can't believe Spitalfield is on MTV. Kristina, remember when they were just Dan Rose's brother's band? Ha, I say that as if I know them. Ah, flood of memories from Sandblast. "First I have a couple of rules..."
Now look at this:
February 14: Duvall is playing a show with Bob Nanna at Bottom Lounge.
February 20: Spitalfield is playing with Duvall, among other bands, at Illinois State University.
Then in March, Spitalfied is going on tour with Hey Mercedes.
I think they should all just come play a show together in my living room. That would be swell.
