Well, I had my second behind the wheel driving time with an instructor today. Whoop whoop, let's hear it for all the seniors still on their permits! I was hoping that something funny would happen, but nothing funny did happen, instead I just drove well. I guess that's not entirely a bad thing. Only one more behind the wheel, and then I'll get my blue slip! Then all I'll need is 13 more hours with my parents. Hmm...I've had my permit for 6 months and gotten 12 hours.....Lord willing the next 13 hours won't take so long.
I was babysitting last night, and one of the boys came downstairs about 20 minutes after he went to bed. I asked him if he needed anything and he said, "No, I just don't like sleeping very much." Cool kid.
Homecoming was Friday night, that was....interesting. Too many little details to explain. It was great to see people that are no longer with us at Westminster. Then Saturday night I partook in some "senior activities" (a.k.a. t.p.ing/TP'ing/however you write it out) and that was a lot of fun.
Meijer is stupid. They wouldn't let us buy any toilet paper or seran wrap or shaving cream. We hadn't even put our stuff on the cash register yet when the cashier told us that she couldn't sell us any of the stuff because she "knew" we were going TP'ing. Apparantly if the people we tp find out we bought the toilet paper from Meijer then Meijer will be held liable and they can sue Meijer. Give me a break. So we took our business elsewhere, to Jewel. They had a sale on toilet paper if you had a preferred card, and we didn't have a preferred card but they gave us the discount anyway. Moral of the story: if you're going TP'ing, buy the stuff at Jewel because Meijer's stupid.
Amberly came home for homecoming and left Sunday. We were sitting on the couch and she expressed her desire to be back at school because our house is so boring. It's true. Will someone please rescue me?
